Anything Chocolate catches our eyes, and we spotted this in the EasiYo section. We have a yoghurt makers which we use occasionally, so we gave it a go. Ingredients: Milk Solids (52%) (Emulsifier (Soy Lecithin)), Sugar, Corn Starch, Cocoa Powder (8%) Natural Flavours, Salt, Live Yogurt Cultures (S.thermophilus, L.bulgaricus, L.rhamnosus, L. acidophilus). It was okay. A cross between a chocolate mousse and a yoghurt in texture. The taste does have a slight yoghurt tang with a mild chocolate flavour too.
We usually eat yoghurt when we want something to add to our morning cereal or smoothies. This doesn't taste healthy, but it's not too bad being about a 10th sugar and some of those are naturally occuring sugars, not added. We thought it was a yoghurt you would have as a dessert, but we would probably do a chocolate mousse instead, though you get a decent amount with this. It would be fun to experiment with some sour cream, real chocolate additions and see what desserts you could make with it. Might be nice as a yoghurt icecream flavour.
