Whittakers Relax and Refresh 100g limited editions

 Whittakers have two new releases in their 100g bar range.  They are limited editions, and they introduce florals.

REFRESH - PEPPERMINT WITH INFUSED LAVENDER

33% Milk Chocolate, natural peppermint oil with a hint of lavender extract.  A chocolate bar that aims to enliven your senses and invigorate.

This chocolate is lovely and smooth.  It melts in the mouth and has a nice mint flavour.
Lavender has flavour notes of herby florals and a mild mint background.   We had to really search for it in this chocolate.  Maybe the peppermint hid it a little, but we did pick up a very slight herby taste that was, more noticeable in the aftertaste.  We really enjoyed the milk chocolate and peppermint flavour combo.

RELAX - PASSIONFRUIT AND INFUSED CHAMOMILE

33% Milk Chocolate, natural passionfruit flavour and chamomile extract.
There is that lovely smoothness of their 33% creamy milk chocolate again.  The passionfruit flavour is there and not too strong which we like.  Chamomile flavour notes are a mild mix of herby florals, sweet honey and apple.  This bar was sweet, but again we had to really search for flavours beyond the passionfruit and chocolate.  I'm not sure we picked up the Chamomile, but in the aftertaste there was a vague hint of dried florals. 
We also enjoyed this bar and its chocolate and passionfruit flavours.

FINAL THOUGHTS
These taste nice, we liked them. 
As a lover of Turkish Delight, Joni loves rose and chocolate as a flavour combo. We are really intrigued and interested by florals in chocolate.  It was a bit disappointing that we really had to search for the floral flavours in these, and it was more in the aftertaste that we thought we picked something up. The passionfruit and peppermint flavours with the creamy milk chocolate, was nice though. We will happily try them again.
